He recently secured a rare dismissal at trial for a senior trader at a global investment bank charged criminally with manipulating the price of foreign-exchange options. He represents a former senior executive of a leading financial-services company in multiple enforcement and civil actions arising from allegations of improper sales practices, as well as a large global consulting firm in multidistrict litigation related to the opioid epidemic.
Recent clients also include a senior executive of a real estate investment company in a federal public integrity investigation; individuals facing joint criminal-civil investigations into alleged insider trading; the former owner of a large offshore sportsbook in a federal investigation into illegal gambling; and the founder of a technology start-up on federal securities charges.
